Leopard

So I've been trying to get Mac OS X Leopard for about a month now and have been failing. A friend of mine is busy but said he'll ship it to me when he's free, another friend had it but its specific to the individual laptop, and my coworker gave me his but the disc is all scratched and it wont load! Bit Torrent will take about 3 days to download! So close yet so far! Should I just buy it?! ARRGHHH
